Student Residents and Student Commuters: Parking Reminders
Happy New Year, Tritons! As you return to campus and prepare for the start of winter quarter instruction, please take a moment to review our previous message about changes to residential and commuter student parking. These updated parking designations better reflect actual use patterns, improving predictability and allowing students to find parking faster. Commuters will also benefit from monitoring our daily updates to the winter quarter parking occupancy.
Student Residents:
Reminder: Permits for proximity Student Resident (SR) parking on the main campus have increased to $4.30 per day.
Parking Lot P705: P705 offers Student Resident Discount (SRD) parking in a designated area. Security conducts regular overnight patrols on the west side of this parking lot. Students can purchase a discount permit for Parking Lot P705 Student Resident Discount area for $2.30 per day.
Pangea Parking Structure: Student Resident (SR) parking at the Pangea Parking Structure has been expanded; however, there is still a deficit of Student Resident (SR) spaces on the main campus. Please consider the discounted parking option at P705.
Student Commuters:
Pangea Parking Structure: Commuter Student (S) parking has been relocated from the Pangea Parking Structure to P304.
