Canvas Access Restored

The University of California has granted approval to restore service to the Canvas system. Access has now been restored, and you may resume normal use of Canvas.

As shared in our May 8 message on withdrawal and change of grading option deadlines, the Academic Senate has approved an extension until Wednesday, May 13, at 11:59 p.m. for the following:

  • The deadline for undergraduate students to drop a course or withdraw from the quarter with a W grade. 
  • The deadline for the change of grading option for undergraduate and graduate students.

The extension also applies to the deadline for undergraduates to change units.

Undergraduates with questions should reach out using the Virtual Advising Center (vac.ucsd.edu). Graduate students with questions should contact their department’s Graduate Coordinator. For faculty and staff with questions about the Senate’s approved extension, please contact Senate Associate Director Ashley Hill (awelch@ucsd.edu).
